Hi, my name is Peter Gold. I've been using social media technologies for my own business and customers for the last 4 years and aim to demystify social media.  As well as sharing with you some of the facts about blogs and social networks, I will show you how they can help to deliver massive improvements in your business performance.

What do we mean by social media?

Sites such as Facebook, Bebo, YouTube, blogs and forums all fall under the ‘social media/social networking' category. Chances are, you'll also know people who have Facebook profiles and will have watched videos on YouTube; but there's also a good chance your experience was for work purposes rather than pleasure! But, not every experience on a social media site has to have negative connotations and can be used to great effect in business, which we will explain in more detail in our report.
