This web site is owned and operated by Hire Strategies Limited (HSL) and is made available to you on the following terms and conditions. By using the site, the services available on it and any other business services from HSL you are deemed to accept these terms and conditions and any additional terms and conditions which expressly apply to services and information provided by third parties.

Our use of personal information supplied by users of this site is governed by our privacy policy.

Use of the site

The information and services available on the site are provided for the sole purpose of employers looking for ways of using the Internet as a recruitment channel. You may use, print and download information from the site for these purposes only and for no other personal or commercial purpose. You may not otherwise copy, display, transmit or distribute any material from the site.

All copyright, database rights and other intellectual property rights in the site and the material available on the site belongs to HSL or its third party suppliers. Use of the site does not give you any proprietary rights in such materials.

Terms and conditions of business for employers - General

In these terms and conditions:

  • 'Customer' means any person, company, organisation or business that receives Services from HSL;
  • 'Order Form' means an order for Services on a form provided by HSL (in any format, online or hard copy) and signed by a Customer or confirmed by e-mail or online;
  • 'Services' means all recruitment products, information and services made available by HSL from time to time;
  • 'Contract Term' means the dates specified in the Order Form;
  • 'Website' means the website at www.hirestrategies.co.uk.

Commencement of Services

We will not commence the provision of Services pursuant to any Order Form until the Order Form has been returned to us, in a form approved by us, by the Customer. If payment is made this is deemed to be acceptance of our terms, and Services will commence forthwith with or without an Order Form.

Prices

Prices are guaranteed for the period stated on the Order Form or Website. Prices are confidential and may not be disclosed by the Customer. Any extension of this time will be charged to the Customer as per our pricing at that time. If any Services to be used within any time period specified on the Order Form are not used within that period of time they may not be carried over into any subsequent period without our prior written consent. The Customer will be responsible for payment for any unused Services.

Payments

All prices exclude VAT. All invoices are payable within 30 days. Late payment will entitle us to suspend provision of Services. Interest will be payable on late payments at the rate of 4% above Barclays Bank plc's base rate from time to time.

Termination

The Customer may terminate the provision of Services by no less than 7 days notice.

We may terminate the provision of Services if:

  1. the Customer is in material breach of these terms and conditions and has not remedied such breach within 10 days of notice specifying the breach and requiring that it be remedied, or:
  2. the Customer becomes insolvent, ceases to trade or goes into liquidation.

Online documentation

From time-to-time we may provide information, reports, white papers, guides etc which are made available to registered users – free or paid for. HSL cannot guarantee that the information provided is entirely accurate, as statistical data will change on an ongoing basis. In no event shall HSL and/or its respective suppliers be liable for any special, indirect or consequential damages or any damages whatsoever resulting from use of this data, whether in an action of contract, negligence or other tortuous action, arising out of or in connection with the use or performance of information available from the services.

Limitation of liability

Our total liability to the Customer in respect of any Services, except for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, is limited to the total amount paid to us during the Contract Term for such Services.

Marketing

From time-to-time we may undertake marketing activities that may include the names of some of our Customers. Any information relating to a specific Customer will be name only unless agreed otherwise by both parties.
